From check in to check out our stay was amazing. When we arrived early the check in was quick and very friendly. We were shown to our apartment and given a guided tour. The apartment was awesome - although we had booked a 2 bedroom we were given a 3 bedroom. It was clean and tidy and the view was amazing. Would definitey visit again.

We booked our long weekend a year prior and it lived up to all our expectations. The apartment was spacious and very well furnished, and the view out over the Lake was beautiful. Chris and Cindy were very friendly and inviting, and very attentive, including finding us an extra park as we had 3 vehicles. The room servicing staff were also lovely and friendly. We have booked in again for next year.

We loved our 3 night stay in the courtyard apartment with our own access to the pool plus a hot tub on our private patio. The unit was really well done and the welcome was exceptional. When we arrived there was no DVD in the room but our host not only got one for us within hours but then got a second one so we could play European DVDs, the desire to sort this issue out for us was very impressive. The unit is a decent distance out of town but that is not a bad thing as it was lovely and peaceful.

Relaxing, spacious, comfy & amazing spa pool. Thank you we will definitely be back!

Close to town, great views. Living space was huge, and beds comfortable. All the amenities you could ask for. Parking was a little tight for a Ute but owners were very accommodating and gave us a bigger space for our stay.

Just perfect!

The guy at reception was very nice. We booked 3 apartments and it all was perfect. The rooms with the view are stunning. All facilities in the room are luxury and convenient. There is an exit to get out to the running track nearby the lake which you can morning jog everyday.

Taupo Museum, 4 Story Place, Taupo, Lake Taupo

Lianne Adams is a freelance artist and graphic designer who works with a multiple discipline approach to create unique, bespoke pieces.
Drawing from her background as an international artist, she crafts her own artistic style, melding together strands of computer-based design and traditional art, amplifying a personal touch within her works. She enjoys telling visual stories through her art that make a lasting impression on the viewer.

Our Garden of Earthly Delights celebrates small parts of this amazing country, Aotearoa -New Zealand and the connection we have with it. The more often we see things around us, even the beautiful and stunning things, the more they become invisible to us.

Consequently, we often take for granted the beauty of this world; the ocean, the trees, the birds, the clouds - even those we love. Because we see things so often, we see them less and less.

Lianne hopes to encourage people to see with their eyes, feel with their heart and connect with their soul to this unique place we call home.

Matariki Glow Show

10 Jun 2019 (Mon) - 11 Jun 2019 (Tue)

Great Lake Centre, 5 Story Place, Taupo, Lake Taupo

“Only 30 seconds gone and all of us are captivated, spellbound and lapping it up.” - Alan Scott-Theatre Review
What Is the Matariki Glow Show?
It’s literally legendary! A giant scale puppet show for 5 - 9 year olds with magical glow-in-the-dark characters from Māori myth and legend. This innovative, cutting edge new concept features over 45 glow-in-the-dark puppets under ultraviolet light in a black box theatre environment.

Rich in Te Reo Māori and Māori culture it’s an upbeat show that has the audience buzzing from the onset. This masterful 40-minute show is underpinned by catchy music that engages the audience immediately, followed by a Q&A session afterwards for our tamariki. There’s an abundance of educational content to take back to the classroom.
